- Visit viewpoints and desert landscapes
- Arrival in Chinguetti (UNESCO)
- Old town walk, mosque, and libraries
- Sunset over the dunes
- Overnight in Chinguetti (guesthouse)
- Early departure to Choum
- Preparation for the Iron Ore Train
If the group catches the train this day:
- Overnight on the train
- Ride toward Nouadhibou
If not:
- Overnight in Choum
- Train attempt moved to Day 4
